According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Americans discarded 82,220,000 tons of packaging waste in 2018 alone, 30,470,000 tons of cardboard waste was landfilled. In contribution to the net cardboard waste, Americans consume 3 billion slices of pizza per year—cardboard packaging is a popular material for pizza packaging. We strive to recreate cardboard pizza packaging in an innovative, environmentally friendly, and avant-garde fashion.
